In this role I work in the Delivery and Schemes branch of Ofgem. Here I have been involved in the processing of data claims for the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme. In this role I communicate with participants of the scheme, assessing claims in which I largely focus on the transfer of ownership on accreditations. This role has allowed me to enhance my skill set in analytics as it requires a very fine attention to detail as we must examine every case in which no two are the same. This is done to guarantee they are correctly managed and that we gather the correct information to transfer the accounts accurately. I have also worked across departments helping other teams where necessary showing a capacity to juggle different workloads at once.

In this role, I handled cancellation requests in which my goal was to persuade customers to change their mind. While not always being possible it has given me a strong ability to deal to bargain with customers. It has also given me the opportunity to deal with people facing genuine issues in their lives, allowing me to gain a real sense of the problems a lot of people deal with in everyday life. There is a sales element to this job in that we are targeted with conversions, avoiding cancellations and sales which has given me excellent sales experience as well as people handling.

In this role I worked on a sensitive government initiative to which I cannot go into more detail due to signing a non disclosure agreement.

In this role I worked both in the restaurant and bar, where I learned so many new skills and really developed my people skills in such a social environment. In such a fast paced environment I was constantly on my feet whilst maintaining a good level of service.

I worked as a general counsellor at an American summer camp, working with kids aged 13 and 14. It was such a full on amazing experience that I am still grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this.

During my time at Asda Travel Money, I worked with foreign currency in buying, selling and dealing with large sums of money. It also involved meeting targets of sales and revenue based on the altering of rates for customers. It also entailed working with Western Union, helping people transfer money to loved ones across the world.

As a Greggs team member it would involve frequent customer interaction in a fast paced environment, which was heavily focused on forecasting sales in order to avoid wasting stock. I am also experienced in the opening and closing procedures of the shop as well as the set up and cleaning process.

In this role I would be involved in the processing of deliveries, which involved the preparation of clothing for the shop floor and the replenishment of stock. This would also include maintaining general standards and organisation of the stockroom as well as completing the stock turnover in a timely manner.
