When I was 18 I became the British Fencing Champion and earned the opportunity to represent St. John's University on its Division I Fencing Team. During my tenure, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, specializing in marketing data analytics. However, I soon realized my curiosity extended beyond marketing strategies, drawing me towards the complexities of the financial markets, where data-driven decision-making is becoming increasingly influential.Through independent research, I became captivated by quantitative trading. The challenge of using mathematical models to navigate unpredictable markets reminds me of the tactical strategies I would have used as a fencer.Now that I am retired from fencing, I am looking for a similar challenge in algorithmic trading. I am eager to apply my programming skills, combined with my analytical and tactical mindset to the evolving world of finance, contributing towards the future of trading technologies.
