Responsible for planning and carrying out all short and long term projects that help the company become more efficient. This includes migrations, overseeing cloud infrastructure and network management.Relying on both technical and soft skills in order to deliver projects on time, within budget and that suit the business needs.

I am currently on a career break as I would like to continue improving at an accelerated rate, this break allows me time to fully focus all my efforts on my learning and improve in the most efficient way possible.In this time I have had various personal projects utilizing the skills that I've gathered in order to produce production grade applications whilst using best practices.I have since built 3 fully functioning applications and displayed them in a presentable portfolio, using Next.js/Typescript/Tailwind/Postgresql with an Ubuntu VPS for hosting, running all the applications in docker containers, utilizing GitHub actions to immediately update the sites along with a secure infrastructure using HTTPS for access and security.Alongside this I've also continued my exposure to areas that I'm familiar with so that I can improve, as well as introducing other key areas that I wanted to improve in, such as Linux administration, AWS/Azure, Docker, plus more.

Overseeing technical issues/escalations, I would work together with project managers or work alone in order to resolve issues in many key areas of infrastructure/cloud environments, my day to day responsibilities would include working with networking/Azure/Virtualisation/Windows servers/Linux/Backup management/Firewall management/Office 365 plus more.Having the ability to switch between tasks and projects is key, this has allowed me to accelerate my learning and continue to develop. I would also often contribute in the way of offering suggestions and prototypes for many advancements that I thought would be key for the business, such as using React to create new starter forms, inventory management, deploying various areas of Power Platform to handle automation flows, forms or key metric dashboards.

Taking on a split role of 3rd line engineer/Helpdesk supervisor, I was able to contribute to the company in a technical and non technical standpoint. Technically I would work with Office 365/Azure/Intune/Networking/Server management/Virtualisation/Backup management plus more.Non technically I would oversee day to day activity and help with any escalations, communicate with clients regarding their monthly figures, providing reports to highlight and breakdown any key areas deemed necessary.
