Jack Burnham came into the non-medical, in-home care industry as a 2nd career. His background was as a business innovation and marketing consultant with Urgent Medical Care centers, Physical Therapy practices, and Employee Staffing companies. Living 2,200 miles away from his own 80-plus year old and stroke-disabled mother who was also the primary caregiver for a challenged adult live-in daughter, Jack was profoundly moved by his inability to be aware of and take care of all the struggles of his mother’s normal daily activities. She had been very successful in sounding OK during frequent weekly phone calls. After her passing, Jack resolved to dedicate the rest of his business life to providing competent and loving care for the elderly and disabled so that they can stay in the familiar surrounding of their home and to help them and their loving families to age successfully together.
