Independently planning and producing digital online courses featuring video lessons and other multi-media assets. This involved interpreting a standard scheme of work into digital form, mapping out lessons, scripting, and producing the content using a combination of motion graphics, footage, and animation. I utilised my production and teaching skills to create informative and engaging content to very tight deadlines. This role required knowledge and tact in designing content for level 2 learners that maintains their attention and educates them sufficiently without being present in the classroom. These lessons involved stories, visual examples and challenges baked in to the videos to ensure that the learners were able to meet their learning outcomes.

Providing digital media skills sessions to FE students including camera skills, lighting, video editing and photography, as well as management of TV/Radio studio spaces. With my technical knowledge of media production I was able to effectively support the department and have a positive impact on all learners.

I taught students aged 6-18 how to create various film and media projects, and facilitated other educational activities designed to improve their creative, technical and social skills. This involves idea generation, script writing, storyboarding, location/prop planning and production, where they learn about film genres, shot types, lighting, sound and camera equipment, as well as many other aspects of filmmaking.I planned lessons for each term, and alongside an Assistant Teacher we delivered stimulating workshops, activities, and presentations that facilitate the learning of the students. This role requires interpersonal and communicative skills when explaining complicated aspects of filmmaking and having to constantly adapt a plan to suit the needs of the current class.

Concludes with the production of various community videos that the students plan, produce, shoot, edit and screen to an audience. Students learn how to conduct an interview, how to use video equipment and how to edit video to create a complete film.

Work included video editing and camera operation for branded content, promotional and event productions, I managed & organised media, and performed sound-mixing/colour correction to ensure quality of the final product. Often following a brief but also offering my own input when necessary. Other edit work includes on-site edits at live events, including Q Awards (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and NME Awards (2014) where time management and organisation are vital to fulfil a quick turnaround time.I also camera operated & assisted on live music, promotional and event content. This required an extensive knowledge of various video, audio and lighting equipment, as well as an eye for when a shot is working and when something needs to be changed.

I worked throughout post-production on Forbidden China, a Travel adventure television series (10 x 30min) My roles including assembly editing/logging as well as the editing of short pieces for different episodes. I also colour corrected and colour graded the series.
