The Challenge was the UK’s largest provider of National Citizen Service (NCS), a government-funded youth and community programme. Seasonal staff helped teams of 15-17 year-olds to push themselves, find their paths and give back to their communities through our 3 or 4-week programme.
Roles included mentoring and supporting young people who have access needs, managing staff, facilitating creative workshops, handling logistics, delivering social action projects and much more. Our Seasonal Roles covered a range of salaries, time requirements and experiences - there was a role for everyone,
Sadly, The Challenge went into administration in November 2019 and is now closed. Other providers continue to deliver the National Citizen Service, and similar seasonal jobs are available through them.
