With over 10 years of experience in fundraising, project management, and event management, I am a passionate and dedicated corporate gifts officer at the Detroit Historical Society. My mission is to cultivate and grow the society's corporate and community impact giving, focusing on corporate grants, foundation grants, and corporate sponsorships to benefit museum programming, events, and exhibitions. I believe in the importance of preserving and sharing the history and culture of Detroit, and how it can inspire and empower future generations. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked in various sectors and industries, such as education, media, and finance.In my current role, I am responsible for identifying, researching, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation donors and prospects, as well as developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies and campaigns. I also manage and coordinate the society's signature events, such as the Annual Gala and the DHS Course of History Golf Classic presented by Burns & Wilcox, as well as oversee the corporate sponsorship program. I use my skills in major gifts, stewardship, and community impact to create meaningful and lasting partnerships with the Society's supporters and donors.
