CurrentWorking both autonomously and collaboratively, responsible for distributor backorder review and sub item resolution and sourcing. Active collaboration with manufacturer representatives to provide verified substitute options for MBO gaps in supply. Recent achievements include:2021 - PRESENTContinuing evolution of Mayo campus backorder (Stock Without Ordering) process. Refinement of daily resolution communication. Active team building with both distributor and manufacturer representatives. Enforced communication and collaboration with Mayo nursing practices to ensure awareness of supply issues and substitute product suitability. 2019 - 2020 Through our Supply Chain Management initiative program, Extend Our Reach, I was responsible for working with our campus' EVS/Housekeeping team. Extend Our Reach was created to reach out to other departments and teams to offer and provide support of that groups supply chain functions including PAR item maintenance, supply distribution, supply room ordering, backorder resolution, process/procedure and workflow development and cross team collaboration on process gaps and improvements. Initial foundation was completed and implemented in 12 months. 2018 - 2019 Development of process to manage medical product that falls into backorder status with our distributor. This was done by developing a workflow that included identifying all included partners and internal customers, hand off points, substitute product identification, product movement flow, file maintenance and vendor follow up. This done through a process of inter-team collaboration, white board visualization and development utilizing MS Project. Sign off completed within 11 months of commencement.
