After giving up my life goals of becoming a professional roller derby jammer or an astronaut (both because I'm way too tall), I decided to live a life in service to people. Over time I have developed a broad set of professional experiences that I use to problem solve and to help people grow professionally. I am particularly proud of my track record of consistently creating highly successful teams in different environments. I believe in people above everything else, and with strong emotional intelligence I lead with my whole-self to help great people become the most successful version of themselves. I believe we win as a team and we lose as a team. I continuously strive to create environments with inclusion, diversity and tension to create the most engaged teams with the best results. I understand the importance of innovation-- without it we will never win. Innovation in technology and organizational design is crucial in today’s environment. Taking complicated business needs, translating them and adapting solutions into proven results has been my specialty for the past 15 years. I believe a process-driven methodology is the best way to create one version of the truth and to implement improvement and change. Delivering effective change also takes planning, storytelling and enthusiasm. I feel this is one of most important steps in moving forward and one that many companies and leaders neglect. From running my own business as an entrepreneur to working in a Fortune 50 environment (and many experiences in between) my professional career spans these environments: matrix-management corporate, call center, IT, operations, BPO, HR, recruiting, retail, customer service, service depot and final mile.
