I worked with special needs and troubled young adults who need help to become a self-sustaining, independent person. I would go to halfway homes where a few students would live and basically get to hang out with them and support them however the program allowed me to. I would help students find jobs and prepare them for interviews, as well as ensure they are doing things like basic hygiene.
