As Lead Designer, I oversee the graphics for all of D&R’s design projects. I establish the conceptual and stylistic direction for D&R’s design associates and ensures the accuracy of every product. Meeting regularly with project team members and external clients, I ensure that communication materials effectively deliver intended messages to various audience groups. I am skilled in using Adobe Illustrator CS5, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe InDesign CS5, Adobe Flash CS4, Adobe After Effects CS4, Microsoft PowerPoint, Sketchup, Prezi, and Quark Express.

From 2002 to 2009, I served as a Graphic Designer at The Washington Times where I was responsible for the design and layout of a number of newspaper sections. Often, design included developing intricate infographics and original illustrations under very tight constraints. In my position I collaborated closely with the editorial staff and photographers to ensure high quality product. My work is characterized by exceptional attention to detail. Throughout the years, I have continued freelance illustration work. Among others, my illustrations appeared in the following publications: MacWorld, Washington Post, National Geographic, Boston Globe, New York Times...I have great experience in using various design software packages including: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, Quark Xpress.

I worked as a freelance page designer and desktop publisher laying out various ads and children's videos and game packaging. Clients include: Nickelodeon, Scholastic and The Learning Company.
