I have been working in Physical Education for the last 10 years in Highland Park, IL. I love teaching my K-5 graders. They have such an excitement each day when they come to class. From those 10 years I have learned a lot about behavior management, leadership and promoting a healthy lifestyle for my students. At my current job, I am part of our responsive classroom team, PBIS team, technology team and social committee team. I am one of the internal coaches for the PBIS team at my school. I am also are school coordinator for our district Fun(d) run and Jump Rope for Heart. I have created the P.E. report card, helped with curriculum instruction and implementedI am currently finishing up my master's degree in health education. I want to be able to better serve my students. Having the knowledge from the P.E. perspective as well as the health education perspective will allow me to best serve them as well as the community they live in.When I am not working, I really enjoy watching and playing sports, baking, working out and enjoy some TV or movies.
