Lifting children and young people out of poverty is our main objective, through Education.I’m Jackie Sutter, born in France, raised in Madagascar during my childhood, I have lived in Paris for 23 years, I used to be an information systems consultant at IBM France, I have been living in London for 14 years now, my main interest and activities have been in Madagascar, remotely managed from UK. Cultivating my roots and spreading my wings are my mottos.I Founded Education For Madagascar, a registered Charity in England and Wales, an official association loi 1901 in France and an NGO registered in Madagascar.We are celebrating our 9th anniversary focusing on 3 main areas - Education- Health - ConservationFacts and figures :on 5 sites :Ambohibe Antananarivo, Andabatoara Morondava,Anjozorobe, AmbohimangaTaolagnaro* 183 children, educators, and women in Ambohibe Antananarivo* 423 children and women in Morondava and 12 primary school educators* 50 women in Anjozorobe* 268 children in Ambohimanga* 309 teenagers in TaolagnaroA total of 1233 beneficiaries within five villages. We currently run 13 projects:- 1️⃣ AKKA Montessori School, for underprivileged 3-6 yo children, because every child deserve the best- 2️⃣ CARE Coding Application Robotics Education, for 12+- 3️⃣ SCOLA School Tutoring, University sponsorship- 4️⃣ VIM - volunteering in Madagascar, Language and cultural exchange- 5️⃣ CAD- Career Day Awareness- 6️⃣ Kanto projects : Arts, music, chess, cooking class- 7️⃣ TUTO : tutoring and Multimedia library - 8️⃣ Health center Tomady- 9️⃣ Fody project, all about nutrition- 1️⃣0️⃣ EDF, School For Women - 1️⃣1️⃣ Permada, Permaculture and edible forest - 1️⃣2️⃣ SILVA project, Tree planting- 1️⃣3️⃣ WASH, water supply project 100% of our beneficiary students come from underprivileged families.Our sponsored educators study at different schools in the city such as : ISCAM, Votovorona Polytechnic School, Antananarivo Nursing School, Ankatso University Medical School,  IESSI (Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Soavinandriana Itasy, INTH Institut National de Tourisme et d’hotellerie)We are now considering a new step in developing our activities, with the creation  of our future social enterprise, to offer job opportunities for those young adults   : - IT Outsourcing  and why not an app development.- Carpentry- Sewing - Agro-ecology and creation of  food forest- Tourism and personal services We believe in diversification as an effective tool to develop a business and guarantee its sustainability.
