• Responsible for creating and maintaining a rolling 12-month forecast of the company’s grass seed business for all customers in excess of $175M using a statistical forecast, as well as judgmental input• Lead monthly calls with the BDT’s to review current consumption issues and to update the ROY forecast based on POS/inventory trends and any new sales information, such as promotions, load-ins, etc.• Execute analysis around POS, shipment and inventory trends, product category trends, volatility and accuracy and adjust the statistical forecast within JDA as necessary. This includes entering manual overrides, adjusting algorithm properties, masking outliers, and cleansing history• Assisted in the creation of a Demand Planning dashboard that pulls multiple data sources into a PowerPivot to easily allow planners to review consumption and POS issues• Continuously drive increased forecast accuracy by analyzing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
