Regular job functions include:• Marketing Strategy including brand identity, personality and messaging• Planning and maintaining the marketing budget • Managing design and communications staff• Managing projects from inception to delivery• Manage Company presence in social networking sites• Review, evaluate and report on client social media analytics• Email Marketing• Establish and maintain important working relationships with customers/clients• Development and authoring of all marketing collateral• UI design for business management software and working in collaboration with IT department• Company visioning and developing plans to assist the business maintain its competitive edge• Writing and overseeing training development to ensure courses are compliant with adult learning principles and company brand

As Communications Assistant I was responsible for university-wide communications from the Human Resources and Environment, Health and Safety department. Key responsibilities included:• Designing pamphlets and brochures• Working with stakeholders to complete tasks• Planning and organizing large conferences, such as the Employee Wellness Conference, Take Your Kids to Work Day, Supervisor Safety Symposiums, and more• Assisting in research and program development• Insurance and risk management• Rolling out Business Continuity Planning Software across each department• H1N1 Pandemic Flu Planning• Acting as secretary for various committees including the Emergency Management Response Team and JHSC• Maintaining department websites• Development of emergency evacuation plans in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Safety Code• Other tasks including workplace inspections, fire warden training, and more
