• Supervised a helpdesk team of 10 Marines to successfully provide information technology support and solutions to the Chief Executive of 2MAW an organization of over 15,000 employees. • Operated and supervised Tier 3 Helpdesk Operations, processing System Access Authorization Requests (SAARs), End-User (EU) troubleshooting, fixing hardware malfunctions, and network change requests (NCRs).• Implemented and maintained mobile device management solutions, administered phone registration and advised on enterprise policies; installed, upgraded, configured, tested, maintained and supported operating system software in a production environment. Managed enterprise-class mobile device management solutions for IOS and Android using Blackberry software.• Advised and assisted lower echelon organizations with systems support, including but not limited to; Server Management, Microsoft Exchange, Domain Name Service (DNS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Group Policies (GPOs), and Operating System (OS) Deployments.• Responsible for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of the Wing Operations Center (WOC), which acts as the central communication node between 2MAW, lower echelon organizations and higher headquarters.

Data Systems Administrators support a myriad of computer and Network Operating Systems (NOS) to include versions of Linux, Microsoft, and Unix, to enable command and control. Typical duties include active directory administration, Domain Name Service (DNS) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Warfighting Systems, Database administration and Unified Communications. Marines will be familiar with command line interface and tools (CLI), performance monitoring, client/server configuration, voice and video services, storage administration, virtualization, collaborative tools, and troubleshooting of hardware/software.

• Operated and led a helpdesk team of 2 Marines, processing SAARs, EU troubleshooting, fixing hardware malfunctions, and NCRs to provide information technology support and solutions to the Chief Executive of the ACE, a section of the organization with over 500 users and over 300 computer assets.• Responsible for the validation and implementation of the organizational security awareness training program for the ACE section of the organization.• Worked in tandem with the operation planning team in order to establish a communications plan to provide command and control (C2) to detachment commander and higher headquarters, dispersed across eastern and western Europe.• Supervised and led a small team of Marines to establish, maintain, and troubleshoot communications at forward deployed sites across Europe in support of multi-national military exercises. Further enhancing the interoperability between partner nations and other US military branches, by facilitating discussions and projects to further integrate and complement existing communications within and between all involved parties. • Lead and participated in the preparation of the Commanding General Inspection (CGI) for the Cyber Security (5239) functional area at Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 (VMM 263). Compiling evidence and documents to show compliance with DODIN and Marine Corps policies.

• Led a small team of Marines to provide communications in a forward deployed environment, within hostile territory, setting up a Command and Operations Center (COC), supporting the squadron commander and his staff.• Established voice over IP (VOIP) and video teleconferencing capabilities in order to facilitate communications between higher headquarters, the COC, and users in the field• Acted as the advisor on matters related to domain services to the Communications Officer

• Built, supervised, and maintained tactical data systems, including complex multi-site domains across multiple locations, spanning several different areas, including but not limited to; Server Management, Microsoft Exchange, Domain Name Service (DNS), PKI, Group Policies (GPOs), and Operating System (OS) Deployments.• Performed and/or oversaw daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.• Responsible for the policy, implementation, monitoring and advisement of security software suites to the systems and network engineers; to include Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) McAfee and Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) Tenable.• Acted as part of an incident response team that investigated all incidents, both false positives and real threats, reviewing log sets from multiple domain sources, compiling evidence, and generating reports. Participated in 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force’s (II MEF) investigation and response to real world threats, and subsequently participated in the Department of Defense Inspector General’s (DODIG) audit of II MEF’s response to these threats. • Assisted the system and network engineers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of II MEF and Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) security policy and enterprise solutions on the tactical network• Advised, taught and lead a group of Marines in the application of the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) security technical implementation guidelines (STIGs) on Windows 10 OS, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) product suite; utilizing tools such as DISA’s security content automation protocol (SCAP) and Tenable software suite of compliance scanning across a domain with over 1000 users.
