My current professional goals include: work for an organization with a mission to reduce disease morbidity and mortality while addressing issues of health disparities; utilize my knowledge, skills, and abilities as public health professional; and make a meaningful contribution to healthcare and my community. From my previous work experiences in the public health and nursing, I have provided education on specific medical conditions and disease prevention. Additionally, I have learned to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; organize and conduct meetings with various stakeholders including community members, business leaders and government officials; review paper and electronic medical records; and utilize computer skills to communicate with collaborators, monitor data trends, and produce presentations, posters and documents.
