I enjoy working with leaders on questions that bring system change, organizational improvement, and personal growth. With a background in leading commercial and academic organisations, I am an experienced leader with strategic learning design, development, and delivery expertise. As an external examiner and curriculum adviser, I have consulted with various institutions, supporting quality assurance, design, and accreditation processes. As an educator, whether designing and delivering programmes, facilitating groups, or providing individual coaching, I see transformation as the learning goal. I have studied systems and complexity and believe in critical thinking, reflection, and inquiry as leadership superpowers. We don't need more answers; we need to ask better questions, listen, and engage in meaningful conversation. As an award-winning educator, I love the design process and see teaching as a way to understand how people learn. Taking learners on a personal transformation journey is the most rewarding experience; it is magical to see managers flourish and realise their full potential as ethical and responsible leaders. In 2003, I designed and launched a Southwest regional leadership centre, a multi-agency project that bridged commercial and public sector expertise. This university-based centre brought together diverse stakeholder groups to collaborate on a regional skills strategy. Ethics, sustainability, and purpose are at the heart of my work. In 2010, I worked with esteemed colleagues to launch the One Planet MBA at the University of Exeter. Focussed on responsible leadership, this work continues to drive change in management education.In 2013, I launched a Centre for Peace Studies to reach younger audiences. A collaborative approach that engaged schools, Quaker organisations, and Ashoka, a globally recognised social purpose body. This initiative expanded the scope of peace education by creating strategic partnerships that bridged educational, community, and social innovation networks.I continue to design, teach, coach and advise on leader development.
