Reporting to the CEO, I am accountable for leading the Technical Services team to deliver best practice services and support in the areas of mine design, mine planning, survey, geotechnical, resource optimisation, and geological services. I oversee reporting in accordance with the JORC code where required and routinely act as a Competent Person.I ensure that project deliverables are met timeously, on budget, and to the Client’s expectations. Furthermore, I support the CEO and other staff in managing marketing, sales, estimating, invoicing, strategy, recruitment, and other general management and business functions as required.I am central to systems and processes that drive the safe delivery of the business’ performance targets, and am responsible for organisational P&L, and employee wellbeing. I contribute to the development of strategic and continuous improvement objectives and drive a culture of innovation in the business to deliver an industry leading service.

Principal geologist responsible for all geoscience (exploration activities, resource modelling, resource assessment, due diligence assessments) undertaken by the consultancy on behalf of our Clients. Our Clients include industrial mineral, aggregate, and sand mines/quarries across Australia. In addition to geoscience activities I am the a technical lead in long term strategic decision making (e.g. pit optimisation) studies and integration of resource aspects into mine planning and engineering studies.

This work requires proficiency in Whittle, Minemax, and Vulcan amongst others.
