My overarching goal is to utilise the skills, knowledge, and specific capabilities to ensure a sustainable future for the operations we support, and their communities.Reporting to the CEO, I lead the technical services team for an industrial minerals, cement, and construction materials focussed consultancy. The team consists of highly skilled and experienced surveyors, geologists, mining engineers, geotechnical engineers, and town planning functions. My role is heavily client focussed with both sales and deliverable responsibilities, along with organisation P&L responsibility, business development, R&D, and strategy.My practical experience as a geoscientist for large resource companies, small exploration juniors, and mining consultancies, has developed me into an exceptional geoscientist with a solid foundation in exploration, project development, and mining. I hold AusIMM Chartered Professional (Geology) status and am a JORC competent person in a number of commodities. I hold a MSc in Economic Geology and a BSc (Hons) in Geochemistry, both awarded with distinction. I have a PGCert in Finance through Edinburgh Business School. I have completed, with Top Student award, the Management Development Programme (MDP) at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
