We are a full service other Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) plant, where we design, manufacture, paint, package and inventory products and prepare them for shipping. Start up operation of a Third Party Logistics (3PL) cold storage facility, warehousing perishable and grocery, distributing to the Loblaw group of stores. This facility of 700 employees is both non union and CAW unionized. The HR function was split between the HR Manager and Employee Development Manager.

A world-class designer / manufacturer / marketer of custom complex machined non-ferrous forgings. Two locations totaling 300 employees. (Union & non Union) Closed its operations in May of 2008.Over 19 years - was promoted from a CNC Lathe Operator to Corporate Training Coordinator, Promoted to Site Human Resource Generalist, Promoted to Corporate HR Manager.

Worked at a manufacturing facility but was elected to a Union Chairperson position with the CAW. Worked at the National Union and Local level on a as needed base for Training, and Organizing. Negotiated collective agreements, grievance handling, WSIB representation, and Certified Health and Safety Representative.
