I am a creative, innovative educator with a strong background in literacy instruction and social emotional learning. I have been working in the field of education for over 25 years, first as an elementary school teacher, then as a curriculum developer, and now as Senior Director of Program Development for a non-profit educational organization that develops in-school ELA curricula. In my current position as Senior Director, I work with a writing team to conceptualize new programs as well as revise existing materials. The team is responsible for the overall vision for Collaborative Classroom’s curriculum development, including long-term strategy for development of new programs and revisions.
