• Learning and development design - Programs that expose staff to opportunities that develop their skills and competencies in preparation for further growth, development and taking up new responsibilities.• Managing performance system across the entire Hospital - Ensuring SMART KPIs are set across board, monitoring performance evaluations, performance development plans, and performance improvement plans.• Succession Planning for critical positions across board.Organizational Development- Implementing and facilitating organizational development programs and interventions to enhance organizational performance.• Developing policies, procedures and guidelines to guide operations in the work environment.• Building strategic partnerships with external institutions and agencies for technical assistance with regard to training, selection, Employee Relations etc.• Metrics and Analytics for assessing the impact of training programs on employee performance and making necessary interventions to ensure training programs respond effectively to Hospital skill needs.• Training Needs Analysis to identify training and development needs through performance reviews and consultations with line managers and developing training calendar.• Budgets forecasting on various HR areas like training and preparation of monthly reports.

 Developing and implementing manpower plans. Reviewing the Skills, Qualifications and Experience (SQE) competencies of the workforce and documenting training/professional qualifications relevant to career planning in line with JCIA. Periodically reviewing career progression plans for all cadres of employees for succession planning. Promoting relations with relevant external institutions and agencies on matters pertaining tomanpower planning and recruitment. Reviewing job descriptions, specifications and grading in line with the job scope dynamic. Benchmarking with other market leaders in the healthcare industry. Coordinating recruitment process and deployment of personnel. and also providing support on recruitment and selection activities. Providing guidance, counselling and advisory support to staff. Advisory services to line managers on human capital matters including staffing levels,recruitment, deployment, discipline, performance management, staff training anddevelopment and exit management. Designing and implementing training and development programs. Facilitating on boarding of new employees. Reviewing and implementing Hospital staff policies. Ensuring Hospital staff practices are in compliance with legislation and Hospital policy. Fostering harmonious employee and industrial relations. Enabling effective grievance handling and dispute resolution. Preparation of monthly and other periodic reports. Key lead in organizing and rolling out staff social events and activities. Championing continual improvement of the Hospital’s HR practices.
