I also migrate aspects of Zenni’s older codebase into a new React and Gatsby driven codebase, improving the performance and accessibility of the website.I have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, where I gained analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. I also have a certification in Computer Software Engineering from General Assembly, where I learned the fundamentals of web development and acquired proficiency in PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. I previously worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Nuvolum, where I maintained and updated websites for over 100 clients using various technologies and frameworks, such as WordPress, Gatsby JS, and Netlify CMS. I also have two years of experience as a Project Engineer at Monterey Mechanical Company, where I handled the pre-costing, scheduling, and safety aspects of construction projects.I am passionate about creating engaging and user-friendly web experiences, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies. I am looking for a new role that can provide me with proper mentorship and new learning opportunities, as well as the chance to apply my civil engineering background to web development.
