I learn so much from the people I encounter along the way. Each person and every experience has made me a better person. My mom taught me love, to be honest, to show respect for others and to follow Jesus. The military taught me strength, determination and leadership. My employers have taught me accountability, to be innovative and to serve others. I use these lessons to challenge myself and grow every day.I lead my teams by being the first one in. I go before them to assess the needs, develop a plan, coach and train and then work the plan adjusting as needed. I praise their accomplishments and coach through our failures. Failures build knowledge and knowledge builds skills. We don’t quit, we win.I have 17 years of operational leadership in both manufacturing and distribution environments. My most recent experience was leading a logistics team consisting of 8 distribution centers covering 18 states. I liaise with customers and suppliers to determine needs and provide added value to the supply chain. I am highly skilled at identifying waste and providing continuous improvement.
