I helped Make it Clear with implementing and coordinating behaviour-led design and applying these user insights to the design process. I acted as a second pair of eyes for the creative director, placed in charge of providing feedback and direction on the designs of Make it Clear’s graphic design department. I oversaw the process from conceptualisation and iteration of designs to final delivery of digital assets and/or print files, ensuring quality of the outputs and reporting directly to the company owner and creative director. I would provide feedback and guidance to my team and critique their work, run meetings within the team and the rest of the studio and externally with clients. I was responsible for running bi-weekly creative sessions for the creative team, to pollinate ideas and up-skill the team. I coordinated meetings with clients and stakeholders, on location and at the office, and worked directly with clients, stakeholders, marketers, digital developers, photographers, designers, illustrators and freelancers. I presented educational public speaking on behalf of the agency for charities in London, at universities such as Surrey University. I also contribute articles to our blog and wrote copy for some of the creative. A particular highlight of working with Make it Clear would be attending a high profile meeting at Kensington palace to discuss my designs with Kate Middleton as part of our work with The Royal Foundation.

I spent just short of 3 years bringing clarity to the complicated through design at outré creative. I’ve worked on creating complex information design based communications in highly regulated industries, balancing creativity with compliance for some big brands across both sides of the Atlantic.

Whilst interning at The Graphic Design House in Hampshire I worked on creating design concepts through to printed outcomes for theatres based on the south coast of England.

At Tinstar Design, my first stint at a studio after graduating, I designed print based ads, leaflets, brochures & presentations for UK based housing and retail companies.

During my month at South Downs I shadowed AS Graphic Communication classes and supported students with their project, providing feedback and input into their projects and the creative process.

I worked with the human trafficking charity to re-design their printed promotional and informational materials.

As a voluntary designer for vInspired, a youth charity, I worked remotely with them to support in the creation of advertisements and brand development for events they hosted.
