My analysis focused on two primary business questions: “How are consumer streaming trends changing amid the coronavirus pandemic? Based on those trends, how should companies reach consumers?” Approach: 1) I tracked down the data, cleaned it, and did an exploratory data analysis. 2) Extracted, transformed, and merged 106 datasets spanning 2016 - 2020 into one dataframe. 3) Created presentations and interactive Tableau dashboards where actionable insights could be visualized. Tools used: Python, Jupyter Notebook, Excel, Tableau, and data from Twitch.tv API. “Healthcare Bluebook” - Led a team of 6 data analysts to derive actionable insights for HCBB, specifically: 1) How did Medicare payments and counts change over time from 2015 to 2017? 2) Which procedures had the largest change in average payment and utilization those years?“The Joy of Dashboards” - A statistical visualization of Bob Ross’ paintings on The Joy of Painting. Basically, I combined datasets in Python which correlated to content painted in Ross’ work, encompassing color palette and elements used. Discovered color trends through each season of the show and visualized conditional probabilities for elements painted. Tools used: Python, SQL, pgAdmin, and PowerBI for visualization.“United Nations GDP and Internet Usage” - EDA of international gross domestic product and Internet usage by country.
