I co-launched a real estate development tracking company specializing in 3D urban exploration and color-coded data visualization. Using Unity, I developed our first B2C product, YIMBY+, targeting Chicago, Miami, and New York, while simultaneously working on custom enterprise visualization projects.

Founding writer for the Chicago branch of YIMBY (“Yes In My Back Yard”), an online commercial development news publication. I have written more than 2,000 articles with photographs covering new construction and real estate developments in the Chicago area. The publication has reached 80,000 monthly user visits and more than 1 million unique visitors since launching.Built 3d model of Chicago's key construction developments for added visualizations within the articles.

I delivered UX services for Discover Financial Services, covering prototyping, testing, audits, and documentation for features like single sign-on, privacy tracking, and the spend analyzer dashboard. I also designed wireframes and prototypes crucial for launching a company assets manager and an internal creative training platform.

Designed UI/UX and coded the iOS application of a new smart contacts management application with blockchain-based architecture.

Created a customized payout flow for Tradeshift Cash, assisted in designing the main user dashboard and an internal dashboard for customer support, and conducted an internal competitive analysis for Tradeshift Go, a quick corporate card access tool.

Designed and iterated on a dozen Fortune 500 company location web pages as part of Yext's Pages product offering. At the time of the internship, Tradeshift was developing a marketplace for online procurement. Designed user flows for company’s new mobile marketplace. Updated layout for desktop version of company’s marketplace. Built reusable marketplace components in Sketch.

PluggedIn is a St. Louis startup that connects jobseekers with other startups and enterprises. Performed consulting work by interviewing several jobseekers about their experience with the platform to make informed recommendations for UX changes.

Built UI component prototypes with Javascript, jQuery, HTML and CSS and iterated designs while working with design team and the senior head of UI experience. Also created demo accounts for presentation of new features to investors.

Conducted interviews with users, then evaluated feedback to enable informed UX improvements, particularly Tradeshift’s new catalog feature, which has since been released. Designed wireframe prototype for potential new mobile application.
