• I am the technical Advocacy and Campaigns Lead responsible for the overall Establishment, Coordination, Management, Research and Implementation of the Women’s Economic Empowerment project in Kenya. Responsibilities.
• Establish the project Advocacy and Communications Hub, maintaining relations and liaison with the Research Hub and Coordination Hub.
• Lead project advocacy processes with County and National governments in line with the projects' Advocacy and Communications strategy.
• Set up effective national project management structures (including multi-stakeholder platform), processes and teams for optimal implementation of the project, internal and donor accountability and for resolving.
• Coordinate with all actors to develop and implement effective campaigning and influence strategy linked to the outcomes of the project.

Kenya

• I was responsible for the development of policy briefing documents; mapping and monitoring of advocacy activities; supporting advocacy actions around relevant political opportunities and moments; and managing internal.
• Led a technical working group to develop a training manual for capacity building County Education Boards (CEB) sub-committees in Kenya on mainstreaming Special Needs Education, and Gender and Human Rights towards.
• Successfully lobbied Ministry of Education (MoE) senior management for the validation and roll out of CEB training manual and Child Safety and Security policy guideline.
• Represented Plan International in national, high profile meetings including the review of Basic Education Act and National Education Sectoral Plan 2019-2022.
• Developed advocacy curriculum and facilitated mentorship of 10 implementing partner organizations on effective locally-led advocacy campaign and influencing.
• Guided program documentation and dissemination of the best practices and lessons learnt through case studies to facilitate shared learning to consortium partners.

• Working in the 2007/08 Post-Election Violence (PEV) hotspots in Kenya to support CSOs in advocating for the implementation of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Act, 2012 and enhance establishment of Alternative.
• Advocacy Strategy; Designed and coordinated delivery of advocacy plans, strategic priorities and governance frameworks with a focus on promoting rights of the displaced persons.
• Influencing; Developed case studies and lobbied national Judiciary Taskforce on Alternative Judicial System (AJS) towards developing an AJS policy as part of Judiciary Transformative Agenda towards promoting access to.
• Networking; Crafted strategic relationships with partners in government agencies, UN, donors, Judiciary, and Civil Society Organizations to strengthen collective advocacy initiatives on redress for the PEV survivors.
• Representation; Participated in high level expert dialogues, technical working groups, advocacy round tables and network meetings to advocate for the implementation of the IDP Act, 2012.
• Capacity building; Mobilized and trained community leaders and government officials on mediation, succession laws, property laws to facilitate the management of the ADR mechanisms to settle disputes.
