On September 1, 2023, I became President of Rocket Legal Professional Services, a subsidiary of Rocket Lawyer,. Our mission at Rocket Lawyer is to make the law more affordable and accessible, and since 2008, we have helped over 30 million individuals create more than 50 million legal documents and provided answers to their legal questions.In my current capacity, I spearhead our company's innovative approaches to legal services, including Alternative Business Structure initiatives and executing our AI strategy to enhance productivity while maintaining stringent regulatory control with human judgment.Throughout my career, I have refined my management and leadership skills, especially while guiding two prominent organizations -- the Air Force JAG Corps and the American Bar Association -- through significant transformations. Working in collaboration with many others, I have successfully implemented optimal solutions to meaningful challenges.During my time as the Executive Director (equivalent to CEO) of the American Bar Association from 2010 to 2023, I revamped the senior staff, improved technological integration in the legal profession, and significantly reduced expenses while boosting overall effectiveness. When I moved on from the ABA, the association included some 1,040 staff and total assets grew to $350 million.Before that, as a judge advocate (military attorney) in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 2010, I served in various capacities across the United States and in over 50 countries. I was honored to serve as the first lieutenant general (3-stars) in the JAG Corps.
