But, very often, they try to identify us and confine us to a column, or a row - or a box - and too often... they succeed. As I grow in this life as a father and a man, I am finding it harder and harder to pick a job description of my life's work from a column on a drop-down menu. And my life's work has just taken a hard-left turn at the corner of change, hope and opportunity. Life has truly become a three-way street.And yes, in a world of conformity, I've got the descriptors to go with my former "titles"... Let's see. I am a "marketing and sales 'pro' with an ability to create and manage marketing campaigns, sales teams, and position products for explosive growth through project management and... I also have a proven track record of strategic branding, creative conceptualization, and motivational leadership; blah, blah, blah – yes, while all of that is true and I cringe to think I wrote it for someone else and not for myself - there is no checkbox or dropdown for what I do now. I change the course of your business with myriad operations experience, passion, and innovative marketing ideas.I know people and I love it when their power and energy come together through osmosis and synergy. It happens most clearly for me when I am feeding people at my restaurants and engaged in thoughtful discussion. I have designed and owned several restaurant concepts both in the United States and in Costa Rica. I marketed hospitality companies there as well. Now, the art of hospitality, when truly executed, can open the heart and the mind to the most awe-inspiring conversations and examples of human sharing. I've seen it.So now I am taking these marketing and hospitality skills and rolling them in the ‘flour’ of inspiration, carefully kneading together, the ‘dough’ of personal connection, catching a healthy euphoria from the wondrous smells of the spiced, vanilla extract coming from your soul, and rolling them out onto the warm, welcoming cutting board that is my new passion - Mind and Body Wellness and Life Coaching Living Programs.
