About Jack Schaedel

After 27 years of advising and representing employers and employees in Los Angeles, California, I became a mediator to devote my knowledge and skills to provide the most creative solutions to resolve employment litigation.I founded the Labor & Employment Section of the Pasadena Bar Association in February 2012 and served as the Section Co-Chair until 2019. I also serve on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law section, and as co-chair of the Workforce interest group for the Southern California chapter of the German American Business Association.Core strengths: seeing through positions to intuit employers’ and employees’ genuine interests, effective empathy that allows parties to hear and understand each other and get past their initial talking points and common barriers to yes, detailed knowledge and experience of California employment law.
