As Sous Chef it has been my responsibility to lead a large team of chefs on a day to day basis in a busy kitchen. Ensuring excellent food quality is a must whilst maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene. This role has also seen me learn and take on numerous administrational duties including contracts, rotas, ordering, stock control and disciplinary responsibilities.

This role required me to be in control of the kitchen team leading to me learning many new skills such as stock counting, food ordering and how do deal with being in charge of attaining high standards in a busy environment.

Often in this job I was trusted to deal with customer complaints, which has enhanced my abilities to effectively and satisfactorily deal with potentially hostile situations.
