Directed and produced artist Native Son's first music video debut "Brown Water". A deeply affecting piece of songwriting, "Brown Water" explores the collective traumas endured by Black people, particularly the feeling of watching horrifying acts of police brutality and wondering if or when he'll have to suffer the same fate.The video was filmed in various locations throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area. Operating with a skeleton crew and very little resources, I approached this project with a run-and-gun style of shooting, relying heavily on improvisation and intuition. Video was shot on both a EOS Rebel t7i and a DJI Mavic Air 2.

Worked as PA on Showtimes TV series 'City on a Hill'. Was part of a team of production assistants who were responsible for relaying information throughout the set, locking-down locations during filming, and providing general support to various departments on set.The time spent on such a high budget production provided me valuable insight on the intricate ways in which a film crew functions as well as the nuanced mode of communication/coordinating that is integral in maintaining efficiency on set.

Shot, directed, and edited testimonial video telling the story of young woman who, with the help of the SportsHi app, received an athletic scholarship to Brown University to play Rugby. Over the course of several weeks, I captured an intimate perspective on how rugby had empowered this young Harlemite to achieve amazing things.Gained valuable experience on field production, data management, and marketing strategy.

Worked closely with documentary filmmaker John Borst on short film about Montefiore Medical Center’s initiative to reexamine doctor-patient relationships and medical ethics.Learned fundamentals of field shoots to become valuable assistant in prepping for optimal sound / visual quality, setting up mics, running mixers, and setting up lights.Assisted with camera coverage of the events/interviews.

Worked on contract for Hudson Valley - Long Island based health-care company as videographer/editor.Assisted filmmaker John Borst on project focusing on measures made by HRHCare to provide affordable healthcare for migrant farm workers and their families. Conducted on-camera interviews and collected B-Roll footage of events, settings, and people of interest. Edited footage for annual event recap videos.
