Designed and developed a technology strategy for a major healthcare provider.

I collaborated with Dr. Stiles lab to investigate the effect of steatosis on liver cancer development. I performed western blots, real-time PCR, lipofectamine transfections, and soft agar assays. I underwent three weeks of didactic lectures on diabetes, obesity, health disparities, and biostatistics.

I provided an interface between the undergraduate students and lab coordinator. I taught students how to handle microbiological organisms and perform aseptic technique, along with a variety of microscopy techniques. I developed weekly quizzes to test students on their understanding of the material. I taught students how to utilize excel in order to visualize experimental results.

I studied CRTC1 protein stability as a mechanism underlying the therapeutic effect of aspirin. I maintained cancer cells culture lines. I performed western blots and real-time PCR. I analyzed mass spectroscopy of immune-precipitated peptides.

I completed a course of study in Designing Clinical Research. I assisted medical students in designing a research study protocol. I participated in mentorship and career building exercises.

I taught students how to perform basic life support and first aid. I helped students become Emergency Medical Responder and CPR certified.
