I work in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), assisting youth clients in achieving greater independence. My main goal is to support clients in areas such as education, life skills, daily activities, and community integration. My responsibilities include organizing treatment plans, collaborating with therapists, documenting client progress, communicating in Spanish, and conducting psychotherapy sessions. In case management, I am responsible for contacting clients by phone to gather updates on their therapeutic experiences with Synergy. My duties include documenting their feedback, texting clients about insurance matters, and inquiring about important medical information.

My research pertained to public health and how to improve the effectiveness heath care through the utilization of community health workers. I had to opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals in my cohort, practice my public speaking skills, and expand my professional expertise.
