Worked one-on-one and in small groups with pitchers ranging from ages 9 up through high school. Created individualized session plans to help each athlete develop and work toward their specific goals, incorporating fundamentals of pitching as well as strategy, strength and conditioning, and arm care.

I pitched for the Twins single-A and high-A affiliates. During this time I also used my role to connect with the community, volunteering at local kids camps, assisting in community service days, meeting fans before and after games, and speaking to young athletes about my experiences. Because of my work in the community, I was honored by the Twins with the 2023 Harmon Killebrew Award, recognizing outstanding minor league community service.Additionally, during my time with the organization, I was selected by my teammates as an alternate representative to the Major League Baseball Players' Association. In this capacity, I ensured that players' rights were being upheld, acted as a liaison between the player and the union when issues arose, and kept players up to date on important information from the union.

I pitched for the Westside Woolly Mammoths of the independent United Shore Professional Baseball League. I also helped create a positive experience with fans by participating in meet-and-greets, signing autographs, and speaking during events before and after games.

I participated in an Americorps service year, working with Habitat for Humanity of Durham. In my role, I assisted in the construction of new homes for the Durham community while leading groups of volunteers. I ensured safety on the job site, promoted involvement and inclusivity with the volunteers, and planned ahead to make sure every volunteer had a positive experience.

As part of my role, I also participated in panels, Admitted Students' Days, and other events for the university, while also helping train other tour guides.
