While sponsored by United Prairie Bank in this unique experience we were tasked to take out a loan and build our brand/company from the ground up. As a team we overcame many unique challenges while paying back our loan early with a significant amount donated to our charity. As a Financial Manager I was fortunate to learn many skills including developing a full financial plan from scratch, sending weekly sales documents to our bankers, and using my teamwork to work in our very important finance team. Overall, this opportunity taught me many real-world skills improving my sales, marketing, decision making, problem solving, and analytical thinking skills.
