Aerospace Electrical Engineer with six years of experience designing for satellites, sounding rockets, automated aircraft and high altitude balloons. I love building things that advance cutting edge technologies and explore the unknown. Designing systems to make new things possible is my ultimate drive. In my work at Montana State, I have designed electronics and firmware for solar flare experiments to handle the data acquisition and communication protocols. At Pyka and Volansi, I was able to design hardware and firmware for automated electric cargo aircraft which were enabling brand new flight applications such as delivery to places with no runway and aerial fertilization over areas which would be dangerous for a human pilot. As an engineer I have had success designing with integration as a main drive. Because weight and size are always main factors in aerospace applications, working closely with mechanical designers in order to meet these requirements has been a constant theme in my work. I have even spent time designing mechanical systems for testing and integration of my electrical designs. Confident in my ability to learn new skills and work in a broad range of disciplines, I am experienced with considering many factors in all of my designs.
