Animal management undergraduate research assistant at the Baric Epidemiology lab at UNC-Chapel Hill, where I support the lab in preparing, organizing, and working with lab materials and animal subjects. The Baric Lab conducts virology research for coronavirus, norovirus, and Zika virus, and I safely work to properly handle and dispose of biohazardous material, properly handle and directly work with mice for research purposes, prepare solutions for injection and testing, and ensure the proper functioning of the lab.

The UNC chapter of Kesem hosts a week-long summer camp for kids whose parents have been affected by cancer, and provides a safe, fun space for kids to be themselves for a week at camp! The camp is completely free to the kids through year-long donations and fundraising events including blood drives, giving Tuesday fundraising, benefit nights, make the magic dinner/fundraiser, and a host of other fundraising events throughout the school year.

I am a youth counselor at Camp Outer Limits through the Northwest Cary YMCA and am a counselor for afterschool programs. I was the site coordinator for afterschool programs for 1 year and held a pro position at summer camp.

Under the supervision of medical and data analysis professionals, I overviewed and helped revise clinical trials to draw conclusions on the individual patient burden in the fields of immunology, urology, infectious diseases, and neurology. Reviewing over 80 individual clinical trials, I gained insight into various medical conditions, treatment plans, clinical trial structures, and the correlation of various procedures to patient burden. I then presented my findings and suggestions to a board of doctors, medical professionals, and researchers to improve patient experience in future clinical trials.

Hosted events for the Hinton James Residence Hall Community to improve the experience of residents, and to advocate for the residents. Hosted events ranging from social justice to mental health awareness, political activism, philanthropy, to fun/enjoyment-related events for the residents of Hinton James. Submitted event proposals and worked with the Governor and Chief of Staff to maximize residents' experience.

Hosted bimonthly neighborhood food drives in western wake county, and donated over 5,000 pounds of food to western wake crisis ministries to help people suffering from food insecurities.

Lead weekly student council meetings, and organized and lead school-wide and community events to benefit Panther Creek and the surrounding communities. Communicated and worked with school administration and other administrative figures in the WCPSS system to maximize student experience and community outreach. Coordinated philanthropic, spirit, leadership, community building, and interest-based events, aswell as advocating for students needs and concerns to school administration.
