Planning and organizing pre-college engineering program for high school students. The goal is to create a program helping young students and future engineers to acquire the basic skills and knowledge to set them up for success as they look to discover their career paths in college and afterward. During the spring I interviewed over 20 candidates and hired 6 candidates for Engineering staff that I was responsible for. While planning the curriculum I focused on creating activities to cover relevant and important engineering concepts of the ever-growing field, along with scheduling field trips and guest speakers that aligned with the goals I was trying to teach. On top of all of this, I organized the entire schedule and plan for the student experience and trained my staff to carry out these plans and goals with the students through the summer.

Provide personalized tutoring on a range of math, science, and physics courses to student athletes at Oregon State University

As Head Team Advisor I taught interested engineering students engineering topics such as computer-aided design, engineering sketching, project management, along with giving lectures on topics such as Aerospace Engineering and introductions to aeronautical principles. This position also required I oversee the other team advisors and their activities with students. This position was extremely fast-paced and required me to constantly think quickly on my think to ensure the entire program ran smoothly.

Helped with the Folsom Lake Marina by performing maintenance on the boat docks and surrounding state park along with helping visitors with their boats, filling hosts with gas, and running the marina shop on the water.
