Before I managed and owned this company, I worked as an employee. As a crew chief, I was responsible for the day to day activities of one crew of 3 people. This included:- quality assurance at each property- training of new or inexperienced workers- driving a truck and trailer- keeping the crew on schedule- monitoring the motivation of the crew from day to day and week to week, and helping maintain that motivation through incentives- making adjustments on the fly due to weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances
