Originally from Clearwater, Florida, I am currently at Auburn University pursuing a degree in finance from the Harbert College of Business. I chose to study finance because of my desire to acquire in-demand financial knowledge in all areas of business including data analytics, risk management, investment strategy, and capital allocation, particularly in the areas of construction and development. Over the course of my studies, I have developed strong discipline, communication, and time management skills. I am certified in Excel and PowerPoint and proficient in Bluebeam, Building Connected, and Procore construction software.Over the last three years, I have completed four different construction internships with significant time logged on-site at Auburn University’s ACLC project, the Edge dining hall project, and the Auburn Community Church building. In addition to the knowledge acquired through classes in finance, these internships have provided me with opportunities to learn the management side of business. While at Auburn’s Herbert College of Business, I plan to continue to develop my passion for the business of real estate development and construction through the knowledge I gain in finance.
