As a Vaccine Demand Strategist with the CDC Foundation, I work alongside the Connecticut Department of Public Health Immunization Program to develop evidence-based strategies that improve COVID-19 vaccination coverage in high Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) communities. My role focuses on fostering partnerships with vaccine providers, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to promote vaccine equity and address health disparities. I also design and implement audience-centered communication materials to educate communities about vaccination and infectious disease prevention. Additionally, I evaluate outreach efforts to refine strategies, support behavior change, and advance health equity across Connecticut.
