I represent private property owners and condemning entities facing eminent domain proceedings and condemnation issues around the country, with a special emphasis in:*Serving as national eminent domain counsel to corporate clients with large real estate portfolios that are threatened with condemnation.*Representing property owners in complex, high-value eminent domain litigation.*Representing energy and utility companies in corridor acquisitions and other large infrastructure projects to acquire necessary right-of-way and in protecting their assets when they are condemned, particularly when faced with municipalization efforts by cities and towns. I was lucky enough to fall into this line of work more than 25 years ago and have never looked back. My entire practice focuses on eminent domain matters and other closely related real estate litigation. I am proud to be a member of the Counselors of Real Estate and the Colorado representative of Owner's Counsel of America. I love this area of the law and the people I get a chance to work with, so I regularly write about and present on eminent domain issues at legal conferences and trade associations, and have served for many years as one of the planning chairs for ALI-CLE's national eminent domain conference.
