Activity Coordinators are the face of LSC to the clients when on site. They are charged with the organisation of social activities, sports and evening events of an international summer school. They are responsible for booking, reconfirming and supervising activities and excursions.In 2015 I had a 6 week placement in London Harrow. I was tasked with the daily management of 20 activity leaders and the social programmes of 300 children and adults. The role was very intense requiring high levels of organisation and leadership at all times. Many things can go wrong when working with children and I regularly had to troubleshoot under pressure. In the summer of 2016 I resumed my responsibilities at Roehampton with a team of activity leaders under my supervision.

From 2012 to 2014 I worked part time as an Activity Leader, guiding both the cultural learning aspect and the entertainment side of residential English language learning courses in the UK for teenagers from various countries. As an Activity leaders I ran tours around UK cities and attractions, communicating information about them, and encourage the students to practice English in a fun environment. I was also tasked with organising quiz nights, talent shows, sports tournaments and supervising discos. I was regularly used Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop and Illustrator) to create effective and engaging timetables and posters that were accessible to a variety of ages and nationalities.
