Hi, my name is Jaclyn Martinez and I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Biology and pursuing my secondary education certificate. I have experience teaching at my internship at Travis Early College High School and through the UTeach Natural Sciences program. I also have leadership experience from my involvement in different student organizations such as Subiendo: Academy for Rising Leaders and my local church. In the coming months, I will begin my student teaching at Travis Early College High School where I will learn to develop lesson planning skills, classroom management, as well as many other skills through interacting with a diverse group of students. I am currently looking to diversify my connections with the surrounding districts in the Austin area and the San Antonio area to connect with other teachers and administrators
