● Prepare and file U.S. and National Stage applications, RCEs, Issue Fee transmittal, Amendments,Responses, Notice of Appeals, Declarations, Assignments, and other documents.● Draft reporting for U.S. correspondence; prepare formal documents; communicate with clients andinventors to secure signatures and send follow-up reminders.● Contact clients, vendors, and USPTO personnel regarding prosecution of applications and other matters atlegal staff discretion. Work with Docketing Department staff to receive docketnumbers, related application information, add or delete docketed dates, and ensure information is correctand updated.● Independently handle numerous special projects including applicant changes, request for withdrawals,intakes, and chain of title research.● Provide coverage for multiple team members.● Through knowledge of IP procedures and performing legal and administrative tasks.● Professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels, including staff members, associates,administration, and partners.● Enter billable time in INTAPP and open new client matters.● Upload and submit of all types of US filing in Patent Center.● Proficiency in various computer programs (iManage 10, Inprotech, Patent Center, One Note, Teams, Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel, DocuSign, IPDAS, Zoom, etc.).

● Preparation and filing of U.S. formality documents including U.S. Patent Applications;Declarations, Assignments and U.S. Power of Attorney forms in the USPTO.● Maintaining large client portfolio for outstanding formal documents including high volume follow upwith inventors, clients, and foreign agents.● Assisted with office shipping of confidential documents to inventors and company’s clients.● Updating internal database for new patent filings and working with attorneys to obtain informationfrom inventors and clients.● Responsible for opening new matters, accurately entering information in databases, and retrievingclient and matter numbers.● Enter prior art cited in foreign office actions into prior art database; ensure families are properly linked.● Preparation and filing of Information Disclosure Statements with certifications and fees.● Train and mentor recently hired employees; provide important information and resources as part oftraining procedures.
