My story starts in San Diego, California, where I grew up in a big family of strawberry and tomato growers. You could say my love for the produce industry started early! Whether it was watching customers light up over a fresh-picked strawberry at our family’s local roadside stand 🍓, marveling at the forklift-driving pros in the warehouse, or observing how the leadership team approached strategic decision making, I was (and still am) in awe.Growing up around the ag world instilled in me a deep appreciation for the hard work behind every harvest at all levels and perspective lenses. It laid the foundation for a career focused on exploring creative ideas and solutions, building meaningful relationships, and driving the mission to bring fresh produce to more tables.At BrightFarms, I am proud to contribute to a vision that uses the world's most advanced technology to transform the way communities experience the freshest produce, straight from local greenhouse farms.
