**Introduction:**Hi! I’m a proud Cal Poly Pomona alumnus with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. Since May 2024, I've been working as a Materials Product Compliance Engineer at QSC, where I’m responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance for directives such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE, TSCA, Conflict Minerals, and POPs.**Professional Background:**Before joining QSC, I gained valuable experience as a Product Development Engineering Intern at an adhesives technologies company, where I honed my skills in utilizing lab production equipment and conducting analysis to ensure product standards were met.I also served as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at a start-up, where I was involved in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, quality control, auditing, environmental testing, inventory management, and the supervision and training of staff. In the summer of 2022, I was honored to be selected for an undergraduate research position funded by the National Science Foundation, where I conducted research at UCI on Decarbonization. My work focused on identifying effective compounds for electrochemically driven pH swings in carbon capture.**Academic Experience:**For my senior project, I undertook a computational materials engineering challenge to identify rare-earth-free magnetic materials with the potential to perform as well as, or better than, rare-earth magnets that are currently in short supply.
