Jaco Botha is a highly skilled, experienced and versatile writer. He has written four books, two screenplays, one stage play and hundreds of articles and columns for newspapers, magazines and the internet. He also wrote, produced and directed oodles of hours of television in different genres – varying from comedy to documentary, reality, wildlife and animation – for local and international broadcasters. As corporate writer, Jaco worked extensively on managerial proposals, pitches, business- and marketing strategies for both local- and international clients. As copywriter, Jaco works through the line: from copy for brochures, websites, and social media to scripts for TV, radio and print ads. He has extensive experience in the drawing up and execution of digital strategies. He holds a BA degree from the University of Stellenbosch; a BA (honors) and MA degree in Creative Writing (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town.He lives in the small coastal town of Knysna along with his wife, three dogs and two cats.
